Flatrock Heritage Foundation is hosting a discussion meeting at Coleman Park Regional Center tonight at 6PM to discuss the potential impact of boundary changes due to redistricting. This is an open meeting. Coleman Park Regional Center is located at 384 Thompson Lane, Nashville, TN 37210.

Artists, we’re ready for you! If you showed in last year’s Festival you don’t have to go before the review panel. New artists can schedule a review by email or phone listed in the image above. It is FREE to review, but Flatrock Festival is asking for a $20 donation from artists to show at this year’s festival.

Friends and neighbors! The annual Flatrock Community Holiday Party will be Thursday, December 16th from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Coleman Park Regional Center. Coleman Park is at 384 Thompson Lane. Bring and meet your neighbors. It’s a finger food potluck so bring what you like!

The Hicks-Ellis tunnel will soon have a new look. The Flatrock Heritage Foundation has commissioned artist Michael Cooper of Murals & More LLC to complete a mural on each side of the tunnel. Work will be begin in mid 2011. Email TC Weber at info@flatrockheritage.com to learn more about the project or to contribute financially.

Much like Syracuse, the Flatrock Community is doing great things with art to revive our neighborhoods. We’re working on a new mural project on the Hicks-Ellis tunnel with artist Michael Cooper and his company Murals & More LLC.
